About The Position
Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital is hiring an ER Tech to support emergency room operations and patient care at its stand-alone, not-for-profit Critical Access Hospital in Ste. Genevieve, Missouri. The role involves transporting patients by wheelchair or stretcher and assisting with patient care, while providing professional, detail-oriented customer service. This position is PRN.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Excellent customer service skills, phone etiquette, and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask.
- Excellent computer skills.
Nice To Haves
- BLS certification is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Transport patients via wheelchair or stretcher.
- Assist with patient care.
- Manage a multi-line phone system.
- Use basic medical terminology effectively.
