About The Position
Our Emergency Departments offer comprehensive emergency medical services to all age groups, staffed 24/7 by a highly trained team to meet the needs of the community. Our team is composed of physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and support staff. The Regional Medical Center Emergency Department is a 54-bed state designated Level III Trauma Center as well as a Level II Stroke Center.
Requirements
- AL or Compact License (No temp Licenses accepted)
- AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC
- Two years relevant experience; will consider 18 months with 1 year in the specialty
- ASN degree
- Willingness to float to other units and hospitals
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency nursing care to patients in a 54-bed ED setting
- Collaborate effectively with the ED team including physicians and nurse practitioners
