ER Registrar, Clarksville (Shift: Wed: 7a-1p; Sun/Mon/Tue: 7a-7p) - ONSITE At Sango

The ER Registrar is responsible for admitting all patients in a timely manner, ensuring all necessary documentation, signatures, insurance verification, and authorizations are obtained. This role also involves requesting deductibles or co-pays, ensuring correct patient identification via wristbands, providing advance directives, and addressing patient questions and concerns. Additionally, the ER Registrar may assist with in-patient admissions as needed.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Less than 1 year of relevant work experience
Responsibilities
- Admit all patients in a timely and accurate manner
- Ensure all current information has been documented, signatures received, insurance has been verified, authorizations received, and the deductibles or co-pays have been requested in a compliant manner
- Ensure the wrist bands are put on the proper patients, advance directives given to each patient and patients receive the answer to any questions or concerns they may have.
- Assist with in-patient patient admissions, as needed
