The Staff Pad is partnering with a respected hospital in Las Vegas, NM to hire an ED Registrar. In this highly visible role, you’ll serve as the welcoming face of the Emergency Department—guiding patients through the registration process while supporting seamless communication between patients, families, and clinical teams and ensure a smooth patient experience. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Strong computer and data entry skills with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Ability to stay composed, organized, and effective in a busy Emergency Department environment
  • Team-oriented mindset with a passion for helping others

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a hospital, clinic, medical office, or healthcare setting preferred

Responsibilities

  • Welcome patients and visitors with empathy, efficiency, professionalism, and a calm presence
  • Accurately collect and verify patient demographics, insurance information, and medical documentation
  • Register patients and maintain up-to-date records within the hospital’s electronic health record (EHR) system
  • Partner closely with nurses, providers, and ED staff to support efficient patient flow and timely admissions
  • Answer patient and visitor questions and provide guidance on hospital procedures, policies, and next steps
  • Help create a positive, supportive experience for patients and families during high-stress situations
