About The Position
The Staff Pad is partnering with a premier hospital in Manchester, TN, and we are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our client's Emergency Room team. This opportunity is ideal for a dedicated nursing professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering exceptional patient care during critical moments.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing (RN) program
- Current Tennessee RN license
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Proficiency in interpreting EKGs, laboratory results, and related diagnostics
Nice To Haves
- One year of hospital experience preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect patient care addressing psychosocial, physical, and overall patient needs
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team
- Deliver high-quality care with professionalism, initiative, and accountability under the supervision of the ER physician
- Assess, monitor, and respond to changing patient conditions
- Perform general nursing duties across departments within the scope of the RN license
- Accurately interpret EKGs, lab results, and other diagnostic information to support patient care
