ER Nurse - PRN (Night Shift)
About The Position
Exceptional Healthcare seeks experienced PRN Emergency Room Nurses for our new community hospital in Farmington, New Mexico. Enjoy exceptional emergency care with PRN flexibility. We offer comfortable patient ratios that allow for true patient connection, greater autonomy, closer team alignment, and genuine connections. There are opportunities for a path to clinical leadership, cross-training, quicker throughput processes, and less administrative friction with direct communication with leadership. Our modern standalone facility has full spectrum Med Lab, Radiology, and Pharmacy support, with in-house Respiratory Therapist (24 hr coverage).
Requirements
- Graduate of accredited nursing program
- 3-5 years Emergency Room experience
- Current RN license with BLS, ACLS & PALS certifications
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Experience with EHR documentation (EPOWERdoc preferred)
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, weekends and holidays
Responsibilities
- Triage patients safely and accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Perform comprehensive assessments for patients of all ages
- Communicate effectively with physicians about patient status
- Administer medications and interpret diagnostic results
- Monitor hemodynamic status and identify cardiac dysrhythmias
- Maintain accurate documentation and provide patient education
