About The Position

Cowlitz Clean Sweep (CCS), a division of Pacific Northern Environmental LLC, is seeking an ER Industrial Cleaning Technician. This role is for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced, team environment and can provide exceptional service and skills. Pacific Northern Environmental, LLC comprises five divisions specializing in commercial and petroleum construction, industrial and commercial electrical, industrial cleaning, and hazardous waste disposal, with operations in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Hawaii, and projects across the United States. CCS specifically provides industrial cleaning and spill response to pulp and paper mills, major oil companies, and various manufacturing and industrial clients in the Pacific Northwest, known for completing large and complex industrial cleaning challenges efficiently and safely. The ER Industrial Technician's duties will vary depending on the job, potentially including operating vacuum trucks, hydroblasting, hydro excavation, tank cleaning, and entering confined spaces. A teamwork mentality and adherence to all safety responsibilities are essential. The company will provide and pay for all necessary safety training and certifications.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Must be 18 years or older.
Valid Driver’s License Required
Experience working in a safety sensitive field.

Nice To Haves

Experience working in a related field – highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Operation of different work-related equipment, including but not limited to high pressure pumps, vacuum trucks, different industrial cleaning agents, etc.
Safely operate and maintain company vehicles as required for job duties, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and company policies.
Responsible for safety policies and procedures of both the company and the customer including hands-on information regarding operations, safety, equipment, emergency response.
Inspect surface cleaned to ensure compliance to company and customer expectations.
Remain professional and represent the company well, great customer service required.
Works as a team participant along with maintenance staff to ensure the team meets quality standards set by company.
Test machinery and equipment as needed.
Maintains punctual, regular, and predictable attendance.
Remain up to date on all safety training and mill trainings, mostly completed on an annual basis.
Work with Hazardous Waste.
Other duties as assigned.
