About The Position

This position is responsible for timely and accurate patient registration, interviews patients for all pertinent account information and verifies insurance coverage. Responsible for analyzing needs of patient, visitor and vendor and directing them to the appropriate department or individual hospital personnel. Answers incoming switchboard calls and the transfer of calls to the appropriate individual. May be required to handle clinical duties as needed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Previous work experience in a healthcare reception office setting
