This role is designed for traders with a proven track record, a defined trading process, and strong risk discipline. Applicants should be able to clearly explain how they make money, how they manage risk, and how their strategy can benefit from Trillium’s capital, technology, market access, and collaborative trading environment. This is not an entry-level role, trainee program, or opportunity for candidates looking to break into trading. Candidates should not apply unless they have generated at least $1 million in cumulative trading P&L.

Requirements

  • A verifiable track record of trading profitability, including at least $1 million in cumulative trading P&L
  • At least 2 years of successful active trading experience in US equities or options
  • A clear, repeatable trading process
  • Strong risk management discipline
  • The ability to communicate trading strategies plainly and in detail
  • A competitive, adaptable, and resilient mindset
  • Must have a 2+ year track record of success in US Equities and be able to communicate your strategies plainly
  • Candidates should have meaningful live trading experience and an established process for identifying, sizing, managing, and reviewing trades

Responsibilities

  • Actively trade US, Canada, and OTC equities, as well as US options, identifying profitable opportunities in real time
  • Manage risk effectively by monitoring market conditions, adjusting strategies, sizing positions appropriately, and maintaining compliance with firm-wide policies
  • Maintain a disciplined trading process, including regular review of trades, market conditions, risk, and strategy performance
  • Follow macroeconomic events, company-specific news, market structure changes, and other research methods to inform trading decisions
  • Contribute to a collaborative trading culture by sharing market observations, trade ideas, and relevant strategy insights with other experienced traders
