Requirements

3+ years of equity research or buyside investment management experience
Extremely proficient in financial & data modeling utilizing Excel, alternative data, coding, AI
Strong familiarity with AI tools and agents, including experience with prompt development and leveraging AI to enhance workflows and productivity
Solid ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Interested in the industry topic area, with some degree of familiarity with the industry as analyst or consumer
Motivated, creative, committed, detail-oriented, collaborative…personable
Aspiration to develop coverage independence over time

Responsibilities

Conducting proprietary research evaluating the competitive landscape, analyzing industry news and company filings, attending conferences, and speaking with key opinion leaders
Interfacing with company management teams, internal sales and trading personnel, and institutional investors
Building and maintaining financial models and proprietary databases
Writing research reports for initiations of coverage, analysis of data, and industry/company news
Conceiving and executing on differentiated project ideas
