About The Position

Wells Fargo Securities, LLC seeks an Equity Research Associate in New York, NY. This role involves developing expertise in the Energy-Oil & Gas sector, writing research reports on company updates and industry themes, and creating/updating financial models and databases. The associate will attend company and industry events, cultivate relationships with covered companies and industry contacts, and communicate team views. The position requires exercising independent judgment, understanding function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements, and collaborating with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals. Telecommuting is permitted up to 2 days a week, but the position requires in-person attendance at the work address. Travel is not required.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Economics, or related field.
3 years of experience in the job offered or a related field within the equity research industry.
3 years of experience with securities research.
Experience with Financial modeling in Excel.
Experience with BlueMatrix publishing software.
Experience with Power Point.
Strong written and verbal communication.
Series 7, 63, 86, and 87 FINRA certification.

Responsibilities
