Role Summary As a Research Associate in the Equity Research Department at JP Morgan Asset Management you will support a Senior Research Analyst in their efforts to analyze companies and generate positive investment performance. This particular opening is focused on the Semiconductors and Hardware. A successful Research Associate is self-motivated, intellectually curious, demonstrates analytical aptitude and attention to detail, and has a strong interest in investing.

Requirements

5+ years of relevant industry experience
3+ years of experience covering Semiconductors and Hardware
Strong analytical skills, high aptitude for numbers; ability to identify trends through numerical analysis
Intellectual curiosity
Passion for and interest in investing

Nice To Haves

Coding experience with VBA is preferred

Responsibilities

Conduct a wide variety of research projects to aid in the investment process, including building financial models and industry frameworks as well as company/industry-specific ad hoc projects.
Provide data and analysis to assist in the management of regional and global analyst funds
