Equity Research Analyst Intern - Summer 2027
About The Position
Equity Research Analyst summer interns work closely with Fidelity's Portfolio Managers and play a vital role in contributing to the investment performance of the firm. Interns take ownership of fundamental equity research coverage for a group of companies within a designated industry. Responsibilities includes conducting in-depth company and industry analysis, engaging with management teams and industry experts, evaluating customers, suppliers, and competitors, building detailed financial models, and synthesizing company, industry, and macroeconomic insights into actionable investment recommendations. Throughout the internship, each intern develops and articulate investment theses on their assigned companies and presents investment recommendations to Fidelity Analysts, Portfolio Managers, and senior leaders. Interns receive mentorship, coaching, and ongoing feedback from an experienced member of Fidelity's Equity Research team while building relationships across the organization and gaining exposure to Fidelity's investment process.
Requirements
- Class of 2028 MBA candidates
- Highly motivated independent problem solvers who possess strong analytical and interpersonal skills
- Shown success during their academic career and in other pursuits
- Sound business judgment and a strong interest in financial markets
- An ability to thrive under both pressure and time constraints in a risk-taking environment
- Seeks an edge and possesses a healthy level of skepticism in their thought process
