Position Summary: We are currently seeking a Senior Equity Research Analyst to cover the biotech and pharmaceutical sectors . The ideal Analyst will have 8 to 12 years of related experience as a Senior Equity Research Analyst in fundamental analysis covering the biopharma sectors , will be a creative thinker, and have direct experience making price-based investment recommendations as a trusted partner in the equity investment process. We will consider candidates with a variety of backgrounds such as institutional portfolio management and hedge funds. This position will be based in Fort Lauderdale , Florida . Requirements
- 8-12 years of fundamental equity research experience covering the biotech and pharmaceutical sectors as an equity analyst .
- Strong numeric, analytical and investment skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong investment performance track record
- Bachelor's degree and CFA required.
- Applicants for this position must be authorized to work full time in the United States w ithout the need for current or future visa sponsorship.

- MBA preferred .
- Buy-Side Equity Research experience with similar coverage.
Responsibilities
- Independently identify and evaluate profitable investment opportunities amongst listed in the US and broader Americas.
- Conduct thorough fundamental analysis of a company’s business and financial position, including cash flow analysis, balance sheet and income statement evaluations, and draw insightful conclusions.
- Communicate and advocate for investment opportunities verbally and through written research reports.
- Contribution to relevant equity portfolios as a team member
