About The Position

Infoblox is hiring an Equity Accounting Manager for its Tacoma Finance team. The position is based in the Seattle–Tacoma Metro area, and the successful candidate must live in the Greater Seattle–Tacoma Metro area. Reporting to the Director of Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting, the manager owns recurring equity accounting and related financial reporting, including routine accounting entries, accounting for modifications under U.S. GAAP, and technical analysis of complex or non-routine equity transactions. The role serves as a subject matter expert on equity awards and collaborates with Accounting, Finance, HR, Legal, Tax, Payroll, IT, valuation specialists, and external auditors as the company expands its equity programs. The manager will partner with HR and Total Rewards to evaluate, select, implement, and transition to a comprehensive equity accounting and administration platform. This includes leading data migration, system configuration, control design, process documentation, user acceptance testing, and training. The role requires strong technical accounting, project management, communication, and collaboration skills, including the ability to turn complex equity matters into clear recommendations for accounting and finance leadership. In the first 90 days, the manager is expected to learn the company’s culture and equity plans, awards, systems, controls, and stakeholders, and establish an equity accounting close and audit calendar. Within six months, the manager is expected to own recurring entries, reconciliations, disclosures, and audit support; develop repeatable technical accounting documentation; and lead planning for the platform evaluation and implementation. Within a year, the manager is expected to be the point person for equity accounting and related reporting, establish scalable processes and controls, build cross-functional relationships, and contribute to public-company readiness, the platform transition, and other equity initiatives.
