About The Position

This US-based role involves covering Asia equity market hours and Asia client flows, both domestic and international. The primary responsibility is to execute and manage Asia equity orders during local market sessions, ensuring high-quality electronic execution and client service. The role requires ownership of the trading workflow across Order Management Systems (OMS)/Execution Management Systems (EMS) and FIX connectivity, with a focus on partnering with portfolio trading, operations, and technology teams to resolve issues and enhance system resiliency.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Strong OMS/EMS navigation skills and comfort working in multiple systems during fast-paced markets.
Working knowledge of FIX message flow/sessions and the ability to diagnose connectivity and routing problems.
Clear communication skills with a customer-first mindset and the ability to prioritize under time pressure.
3-6 years of relevant experience.
Securities Industry Essentials Exam (SIE) from FINRA is required.

Nice To Haves

Portable, buy-side relationships that can be monetized through the execution of Asian equities.
Familiarity with Asia market microstructure.
Familiarity with portfolio/program trading.

Responsibilities

Manage electronic and high-touch execution for Asia equity flows.
Maintain market awareness and risk controls.
Monitor overnight orders and positions, providing timely updates and handoffs to US day teams.
Troubleshoot order lifecycle issues across OMS/EMS, FIX, algos/routers, and venue gateways, including escalation and root cause documentation.
Support portfolio trading by coordinating lists, monitoring completion, managing allocations, and resolving post-trade exceptions.
Partner with Operations, Technology, Risk, and Compliance to ensure best execution, policy adherence, and continuous workflow improvement.
