About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes is seeking Production Asset, Equipment, and Tool Engineers to support the 737 program and other initiatives. The ideal candidate is passionate, creative, and driven to improve processes and increase efficiency. This role favors hands‑on engagement in the factory — working closely with mechanics and directly supporting the production system. In Production Engineering, we expect highly responsible professionals who uphold the highest standards of safety, quality, and integrity. Our Teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Mid-Level or Senior Production Asset Engineers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working in an engineering discipline
  • Minimum 1 year of experience with production systems in a manufacturing or engineering capacity
  • 5 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (Mid-Level)
  • Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluates program and project requirements, develops complex equipment and tooling concepts and designs solutions for the Production System.
  • Compiles and analyzes technical data to determine the effects on product engineering design and rate estimates, identifies robotics, automation or technology recommendations and system integration for equipment and tooling.
  • Ensures compliance with safety, producibility, maintainability, reliability, ergonomic factors and regulatory requirements.
  • Validates contractual performance milestones, maintains configuration control, conducts reviews, prepares plans for productions readiness, preventative maintenance, and spares.
  • Conducts training for Production and Maintenance personnel.
  • Develops and implements work-arounds and maintains configuration of hardware, software and documentation.
  • Performs studies and make recommendation for disposition of assets.
