About The Position

Aircraft On Ground (AOG) is seeking a qualified candidate for a Tooling and Equipment position. This role is primarily based in Everett, with occasional travel to Seattle, Renton, and Auburn as project needs dictate. The position is dynamic and involves working with multiple customers worldwide to fulfill urgent airline requests while maintaining Boeing tooling standards and following established processes. A broad network will be valuable for completing time-sensitive fabrication requests. Working knowledge of GSE and BDS tooling is beneficial but not required.

Requirements

  • 1 or more years of relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Applicable and appropriate educational/certification credentials from an accredited institution and/or equivalent experience is required.
  • Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of GSE and BDS tooling is beneficial but not required.
  • 3 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Associate’s Degree and 3 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Familiar with 3D Modeling tools
  • Experience with drawing, reading and interpreting Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
  • 1 or more years of experience with Project Management experience

Responsibilities

  • Investigates and develops basic to moderately complex equipment and tooling concepts and specifications to satisfy aerospace product design and build requirements.
  • Participates in design reviews, collects design requirements, creates and revises drawings and models to support the build plan.
  • Creates specifications, purchase requests and usage instructions for equipment and tooling.
  • Self-checks designs for compliance with safety, producibility, maintainability, reliability, ergonomic factors and regulatory requirements.
  • Develops and documents equipment and tooling inspection and usage instructions, preventative maintenance plans, and supports user training development.
  • Provides technical support for engineering changes and discrepancies by investigating problems and analyzing data to identify solutions.
  • Maintains hardware and software configuration.
  • Supports the disposition of equipment and tooling.
