About The Position

The Equipment Technician is responsible for cleaning, sterilizing, and decontaminating equipment returned to SFHME, then testing it and ensuring it is in working order before redistribution. The role is based at the Warehouse – All Saints Home Medical in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and is scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The position involves independent judgment for minor decisions within established policies and protocols. The technician interacts with internal and external customers by telephone and face to face, as well as with healthcare professionals and staff. This is identified as a safety-sensitive position under the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Use and Patient Protection Act.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Six months to one year of related experience.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask.
• Ability to be detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sterilize, and decontaminate equipment returned to SFHME.
• Test equipment and ensure it is in working order before redistribution.
• Clean and verify the operation of equipment including food pumps, walking and bathing aids, oxygen concentrators, hospital beds, low-air-loss mattresses and pumps, mattresses, nebulizers, patient lift equipment and its components, suction machines, and wheelchairs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
