About The Position

Amerit Fleet Solutions, a leader in fleet maintenance across the U.S., is hiring a skilled Aerial Equipment Technician/Mechanic to join our team in Nashville, TN. This role focuses primarily on the maintenance and repair of material handling equipment to keep operations running safely and efficiently.

Requirements

5+ years of hands-on experience repairing aerial lift systems and associated medium-duty vehicles
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, particularly with Altec, Versalift, and Telstus aerial lifts
Experience operating and testing vehicles and aerial equipment to verify proper function
Valid driver’s license
Ability to own and maintain the personal tools and toolbox required for the role
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Willingness and ability to meet the physical demands of the position
Must be eligible to pass standard pre-employment screenings, including drug screen and DOT physical (if required)

Responsibilities

Perform timely repairs and preventive maintenance on medium-duty vehicles and their associated aerial lift systems
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and aerial lift components
Operate vehicles and test all working parts in various functions to ensure proper operation
Work on aerial lift units including Altec, Versalift, and Telstus systems
Conduct inspections to ensure equipment meets safety and compliance standards
Accurately document repairs and complete work orders
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including your tools and equipment
Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Collaborate with supervisors and team members to support fleet operations
