About The Position

The Line Maintenance Technician works with project teams, R&D technicians, engineers and scientists with the release and preventative maintenance of Equipment. Work Mode At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a onsite work model, requiring employees to be in our local office five days per week.

Requirements

  • 7+ years' experience equipment maintenance experience.
  • High School Diploma /degree/equivalent
  • Knowledge and experience on mechanical, electrical, PLC and computer interface equipment
  • Knowledge of quality system and FDA regulation

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications in lieu of experience considered
  • Two-year Technical Degree (i.e., AA, Certificate) or equivalent
  • Experience working with medical device or pharmaceutical companies

Responsibilities

  • Maintains Equipment Files.
  • Performs scheduled and unscheduled Equipment Preventative Maintenance R&D and DV equipment.
  • Works with Engineers to release Equipment.
  • Validate equipment and new processes.
  • Maintain complex test equipment, train staff on its operations, and schedule necessary calibration or preventative maintenance.
  • Identify additional or new vendors to identify and acquire necessary supplies, materials, equipment and tools for specific projects.
  • Coordinate maintenance activates with Calibration department and notify them through CMMS on all unscheduled work orders
