Requirements

  • Typically requires a minimum of 6-8 years of related experience and High School diploma/certificate or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • 4-6+ years related production equipment, processes and/or electronics technician experience
  • B.A. in equipment, processes and/or electronics related curriculum is preferred.
  • Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school with equipment, processes and/or electronics related curriculum Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for technician support of equipment, processes and/or electronics related to Dexcom's Operations, Engineering and R&D located in the Production and Research & Development Departments.
  • Prepares and maintains appropriate documents.
  • Troubleshoots and repairs equipment, processes and/or electronics issues, defines and implements improvements to equipment, processes and/or electronics deficiencies.
  • Maintain maintenance documents and replacement parts and work with manufacturers to maintain equipment, processes and/or electronics in a safe and functional condition.
  • Perform activities in the functioning, programming and integration of automated equipment, processes and/or electronics to assume a specialist role in the equipment, processes and/or electronics process you are involved in.
  • Ability to contribute to the coordination and direction of activities in the development of equipment, processes and/or electronics as directed by project engineer with minimum supervision.
  • Support equipment, processes and/or electronics development projects including planning, purchasing, assembly and testing of equipment, processes and/or electronics.
  • This position assumes and performs other duties as assigned, including group leader activities.
  • Perform all assigned tasks with appropriate safety precautions.
