Primary Purpose The primary responsibility of this job is to prevent/predict maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of plant equipment. This includes knowledge and skills to maintain equipment reliability of various pumps, compression (screw, centrifugal, and reciprocating packages), and associated plant equipment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must have valid driver’s license and an excellent driving record
  • Must have a valid Driver's license and an acceptable driving record
  • Willingness to travel and/or commute to multiple job sites

Nice To Haves

  • 4+ years oilfield experience preferred
  • preferred background in reciprocating compressor Maintenance or pump maintenance
  • Working knowledge of CO2 operations preferred
  • Knowledge of Maximo or similar program to track equipment inventory, repairs, and costs
  • Strong technical and/or mechanical aptitude
  • Strong personal commitment to a clean and safe work place
  • Team player, self-starter, committed to excellence

Responsibilities

  • Understands and follows process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and single line diagrams
  • Identifies the standards related to installations in hazardous areas.
  • Obtains accurate and specialized measuring and testing devices
  • Recognizes all safety precautions to be taken while using measuring and testing devices.
  • Understands and utilizes alignment, lubricant, and mechanical principles.
  • Demonstrates a general awareness of the safe way to utilize hand and power tools, how to the correct tools for the job and how to dispose of damaged or faulty hand or power tools in accordance with approved procedures.
  • Understands vibrations principles and applies them to jobs. (i.e. explain what vibration is, why it occurs, how to measure vibration, interpret and analyze the reasons of vibration for safe operation)
  • Creates and operationalizes plans to rig and lift a load in a safe manner, utilize correct procedures and methods and recognize and protect personnel from hazards
  • Checks for own understanding of others communication (e.g. repeat, paraphrase, or ask questions).
  • Organizes facts and ideas, incorporating relevant data, information and examples before communicating or presenting in a meeting.
  • Uses systems to organize and keep track of information relevant to job duties and communicates status as requested
  • Seeks assistance in determining priorities when appropriate.
  • Tracks maintenance activity, bad actors, and cost that is associated with each piece of equipment
