About The Position

Solution One is seeking an Equipment Specialist for our client site in Warren, MI. The successful candidate will have outstanding skills and will be committed to working with others to deliver best-in-class, unparalleled excellence in customer service and satisfaction. The Equipment Specialist will perform inventory control functions to achieve or maintain the desired production levels, to serve as an equipment readiness expert for units supported by the facility, and to provide updates consist with the equipment assigned to the person in this role.

  • Must possess a minimum of 4 years military service (active or reserve) with 4 years in a Maintenance or Maintainer MOS.
  • Must have 1 year or more experience with GCSS or another military supply application.
  • Familiarity with The Army Materiel Maintenance Policy

Responsibilities

  • Perform part research and identification for 339 (obsolescence) cases assigned to the Program Office and ensure timely updates to 339 cases to reflect appropriate responses, Estimated Completion Dates (ECD) and Extended Engineering Efforts (EER).
  • Research and identify applicable Sources of Supply (SOS) and/or alternate parts that meet Form, Fit, Function (FFF), acquisition method coding (AMC/AMSC) and reference number category coding (RNCC/RNVC) assignments.
  • Interpret technical documents to include Technical Manuals, I-Type Documents, and logistics data to provide detailed analysis of findings.
  • Coordinate EER, Request for Variance (RFV) and Product Quality Deficiency Report (PQDR) reviews with appropriate engineering activity.
  • Coordinate with outside agencies and other services (Army, Navy, Air Force, Space Force, United States Marine Corps) to complete assigned 339 cases.
  • Coordinate with DLA representatives for any discrepancy, prioritize emergency cases and Depot High Priority Parts list, submit appropriate follow-on actions via Change Request Part I or Part II within CATALYST, assemble appropriate documents and attach to case file within portal and promote complete cases within the SAP GUI portal providing detailed summary to 339 team.
