About The Position

The Equipment Specialist performs routine repair and general maintenance on equipment such as restrooms, sinks, holding tanks, and showers. The role also helps keep the yard and wash pad clean and organized. The specialist checks, cleans, repairs, paints, and stores company equipment and materials; uses cleaning equipment; checks the water-recycling system daily; and reports materials used and equipment problems to a supervisor. Units must be checked and repaired before delivery and after return. The position also includes general facility maintenance, minor repairs, assistance with retrofitting special or high-end units, adherence to safety rules, and forklift operation for loading and unloading assets.

• Ability to perform the physical tasks listed, including lifting up to 40 pounds from waist to shoulders, lifting 30 pounds from the floor to head, and pushing and pulling 150 pounds horizontally.

Responsibilities

• Check, wash, repair, paint, and store toilets, containers, and other company materials.
• Clean assets such as toilets and sinks using a steam cleaner and/or pressure washer.
• Keep the wash pad area clean and organized.
• Check and clean the water-recycling system daily.
• Inform the Supervisor/Manager of materials used throughout the day.
• Report equipment problems to the Supervisor.
• Check and repair units before delivery and upon return.
• Conduct general facility maintenance and minor repairs as needed.
• Assist with retrofitting special or high-end units.
• Follow safety rules, use protective clothing and equipment, and report safety hazards and incidents to supervisors.
• Use a forklift to load and unload assets such as toilets and sinks.
