About The Position

The Equipment Specialist will support operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and sustainment initiatives for projects related to the KC-46 platform. This role requires a detailed understanding of aviation systems and the ability to manage documentation, logistics, and issue resolution for ground support equipment and components related to the aircraft. On our team, you’ll provide product configuration services for manufacturing operations and processes to meet business needs and requirements. You’ll apply advanced consulting skills or extensive technical expertise, including full industry knowledge, and develop innovative solutions to complex problems. You’ll work without considerable direction, and mentor and supervise team members.

Requirements

  • Experience with aircraft systems, maintenance, and ground support equipment specific for air refueling platforms
  • Knowledge of technical data analysis, providing recommendations for improvements to equipment and processes
  • Ability to conduct equipment testing, troubleshooting, and repair in aerospace environments
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with aircraft systems, components, and technical data, including maintenance manuals, technical orders, and schematics
  • Knowledge of Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations, Air Force standards, and related safety protocols
  • Ability to conduct root cause analysis and corrective action processes for mechanical and electrical systems
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) or equivalent Military Mechanic Certification
