Equipment Setup Technician

We're looking for an Equipment Setup Technician who takes pride in their work and enjoys seeing a job through from start to finish. In this role, you'll prepare new and used agricultural, lawn, and construction equipment so it's safe, fully functional, and ready to exceed our customers' expectations. If you're mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to have you on our team!
Requirements
- Experience assembling, maintaining, or repairing agricultural, lawn, or construction equipment is preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and excellent attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of hydraulic systems and equipment operation.
- A complete set of mechanic's tools needed to perform the job.
- Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and continuous improvement.
- Ability to safely lift and move heavy equipment and components.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- CDL is preferred but not required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with others in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
- Assemble tractors, mowers, excavators, RTVs, attachments, and other equipment according to manufacturer specifications.
- Perform thorough pre-delivery inspections using factory checklists to ensure every machine meets safety and quality standards.
- Install implements, accessories, and attachments.
- Set fluid levels, adjust tire pressure, add methanol to tires, charge batteries, and test all equipment and attachments for proper operation.
- Identify and report any mechanical or cosmetic concerns before equipment is delivered.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Work closely with our Sales, Parts, and Service teams to ensure every customer receives equipment that is ready to work from day one.
