About The Position

This position is hands-on and requires solid debugging and troubleshooting skills within Electrical, Mechanical, Pneumatic and PLCs. The role involves installing, setting up, troubleshooting, and maintaining various mail order pharmacy equipment and prototyping/testing new improvement projects. This is a full-time position, Sunday - Thursday, with required flexibility to work any shift schedules during normal business hours of 2:00 pm - 11:30 pm. Occasional overtime and Saturday shifts may be necessary. The company offers weeks of on-the-job training.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Must be 18 years of age OR older
  • 5+ years of experience in the repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance of an automated manufacturing or distribution line
  • Experience with 3-phase 480 volts industrial electrical systems, electrical wiring, electrical conduit and motor control circuits
  • Experience with maintaining work orders, parts inventory, hours, etc. with computerized systems such as CMMS or SAP
  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical/mechanical/pneumatic issues when they occur on the line including, but not limited to, installation, diagnostic, calibration, maintenance/repair of equipment and electronic devices
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite
  • Must be able to travel up to 10% of the time domestically
  • Ability to fill in as needed for first or second shift team members
  • Ability to stand and walk around the site throughout 8-hour shift
  • Ability to work full-time, Sunday - Thursday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our shift schedules during our normal business hours of 2:00 pm - 11:30 pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime and with occasional shift on Saturday at 6:00 am - 2:30 pm
  • Must pass a drug test before beginning employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with control logic such as Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Software PLC, HMI, RSLogic500/5000, and Studio 5000 and Bechkoff PLC’s

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of an automated production line and automated equipment, including robotic technology and systems
  • Maintaining and managing needs for pill dispensers
  • Accessing application and monitoring work orders
  • Checking sensors daily
  • Handling service calls by utilizing radio equipment
  • Managing machine issues and responding to calls in timely manner
