About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Equipment Service Technician to perform maintenance, modifications, and troubleshooting on drilling equipment and machinery. This role involves working in both shop and field settings, requiring a high degree of technical expertise and problem-solving ability. The technician will be responsible for ensuring equipment operates efficiently and safely, while also maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with customers and stakeholders. This is a full-time, on-site/field-based position with significant travel requirements.

Requirements

• Technical school certificate or equivalent experience in mechanical repair.
• Strong troubleshooting, mechanical, and independent problem-solving skills.
• Must provide a personal set of tools.
• Hold a valid driver's license with a clean record.
• Must have (or be able to obtain) a U.S. Passport.
• Flexible to respond to service needs on short notice.
• High travel willingness (up to 80% annually).

Nice To Haves

• Spanish fluency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, modifications, and troubleshooting on drilling equipment and machinery in both shop and field settings.
• Read operating manuals and schematics.
• Maintain accurate service records and prepare daily documentation.
• Coordinate professionally with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Follow all environmental, health, and safety standards.
• Conduct risk assessments and participate in safety talks.
