Requirements

  • Hands-on, customer-focused technician with a strong interest in mechanics and electronics and a passion for solving problems.
  • Technical training and experience in a service or equipment environment.
  • Confidence to communicate clearly and professionally with customers.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and technologically savvy.
  • Comfortable using computer systems to manage service records, track repairs, and ensure accurate, timely documentation.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build trust, explain technical concepts clearly, and identify opportunities to add value through service solutions.
  • Physically capable of lifting, unpacking, and moving equipment up to 100 lbs.
  • Adaptable and flexible, willing to adjust your schedule when needed to ensure customers receive timely and exceptional service.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain dental equipment while delivering responsive, professional customer service within your assigned territory.
  • Manage service requests, provide repair updates, offer guidance on equipment care and upgrades, and coordinate vendor repairs when required.
  • Support territory growth by prospecting new customers and promoting preventative maintenance agreements and related service solutions.
  • Complete work orders, billing, collaborate with internal teams, and maintain flexibility to meet customer needs, including occasional evening or weekend work.
