About The Position

The Equipment Service Technician is responsible for dispatching to onsite customer locations to install, diagnose and repair various automated packaging equipment. Services and repairs various machines, as well as performs preventative maintenance. Prepares, submits, and maintains records of work orders and parts ordered.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of mechanical technician experience or equivalent experience.
Physical abilities to perform the essential job functions: climbing, crawling, crouching, feeling,grasping, handling, hearing, kneeling, lifting, mental acuity, pulling, pushing, reaching, repetitive motion, speaking, standing, stooping, visual acuity, and walking.
Driver’s License
Possibility of overnight travel for customer visits and factory training

Proficiency with CRM platforms, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, repair and service equipment and tooling. Problem solves using manuals and manufacturers resources.
Communicates with sales team and business partners on outcomes of each visit.
Sources and orders replacement parts for equipment.
Maintains inventory of parts and tools.
Maintains a safe and organized workshop.
Provides basic operating training to customers.
Safely operates company vehicle.
