Equipment Repair Technician I
About The Position
The Equipment Repair Technician I perform the assembly, repair and maintenance of equipment provided by MedCare Equipment Company maintaining appropriate documentation. This service or repair could be for equipment to be delivered in compliance with special medical requirements, modifications to existing customer equipment, repair of damaged or malfunctioning customer equipment or routine service required by the manufacturer. All job functions and tasks must be in accordance with standards regulated by MedCare Equipment Company and their accrediting body The Compliance Team. Actively promotes a Lean work culture by performing team member duties to encourage consistent use of LEAN principles and processes, including continually seeking work process improvements. Recognizes the necessity of taking ownership of one’s own motivation, morale, performance and professional development. Requirements
- HS Diploma or GED
- Valid PA Driver’s License
- Must be certified as a Repair Technician through MedGroup's Certified Repair Center Training Program.
- 2 years HME/healthcare, delivery, warehouse, oxygen, electrical maintenance and repair or related experience.
