About The Position
Sunbelt Rentals is seeking an Inside Sales Representative, also known as an Equipment Rental Specialist. This role is the company’s front line of contact with customers, responsible for understanding their equipment needs, negotiating, and placing rental orders. The position requires strong administrative skills and a professional attitude to ensure customer satisfaction. The role offers steady hours with potential overtime and opportunities for career growth through outside sales or operational management tracks.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required
- Valid Driver’s license required
- Familiarity with various types of construction/industrial tools & equipment
- Previous equipment rental industry experience
- Strong customer service & telephone skills
- Solid computer and administrative skills
- Successful completion of the DOT Qualification process preferred
- Bilingual (Spanish or other) may be preferred in some locations
Responsibilities
- Support telephone and walk-in customers with rentals of all types of construction/industrial equipment.
- Understand customer equipment needs.
- Negotiate and place rental orders.
- Deliver customer satisfaction through a professional attitude.
