Equipment Rental Specialist
About The Position
Sunbelt Rentals is seeking an Equipment Rental Specialist for an inside sales role. This position is responsible for supporting telephone and walk-in customers with rentals of construction/industrial equipment. The Equipment Rental Specialist is the front line of contact with the customer, understanding their needs, negotiating, and placing orders. This role also includes serving as a backup Delivery Driver when required, supporting the team with equipment deliveries and pickups to ensure seamless customer service. Candidates must be comfortable operating company vehicles and representing Sunbelt Rentals in the field. The role also requires strong administrative skills and an ability to always deliver customer satisfaction through a professional attitude.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract
- Familiarity with various types of construction/industrial tools & equipment
- Knowledge about parts and equipment
- Strong customer service & telephone skills
- Solid computer and administrative skills
- Ability to safely operate delivery vehicles and handle equipment transport when required
