About The Position

Foley Equipment is seeking a motivated and results-driven Outside Business Development Sales Representative – Rental. In this role, you will create, grow, and maintain relationships with customers while strategically expanding market share in your assigned territory. The ideal candidate is organized, resilient, confident in cold-calling, and possesses a strong customer service orientation.

Requirements

• Ability to quickly establish rapport with customers and build long-term relationships based on trust and mutual benefit.
• Excellent customer service skills, including the ability to initiate engaging conversations.
• Previous experience in outside sales, demonstrating a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong communication skills, both verbally and in written form, enabling effective interaction with customers.
• Ability to drive and valid license required.

Nice To Haves

• Previous rental sales experience, specifically in the construction industry.
• In-depth knowledge of the construction industry, including equipment and various phases of job sites.
• Hands-on experience in the construction industry, providing you with a deeper understanding of customer needs.
• Bilingual proficiency in both Spanish and English, enabling you to cater to a wider range of customers.

Responsibilities

• Strategically manage and maximize sales opportunities through direct customer interaction.
• Deliver industry-leading customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Analyze customer needs and provide expert guidance on equipment selection.
• Help customers identify equipment specifications to meet their unique requirements.
• Consult with customers to answer inquiries and resolve concerns.
• Effectively manage customer relationship management (CRM) software to track and nurture interactions.
• Travel as required for training or to support other locations.
