About The Position

Rogers-O'Brien Construction is seeking a dedicated Equipment Rental Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting customers with their equipment rental needs, managing rental orders, and ensuring exceptional service is provided at every interaction. You will be a key player in facilitating smooth and efficient rental processes, contributing to the satisfaction and success of our clients. As an Inside Sales Associate within the equipment rental department, you will collaborate closely with Trade Partner (TP) customers. Your focus will be on understanding their needs, recommending suitable equipment, and coordinating the logistics of rental orders. Your efforts in maintaining strong customer relationships will be vital to our continued growth and reputation as a leader in construction services.

Requirements

• Exceptional communication skills for effectively interacting with customers and understanding their rental needs
• Attention to detail to ensure accurate processing of rental orders and paperwork
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office and rental management software, for efficient order processing

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in customer service, sales, or equipment rental preferred for effective customer engagement
• Knowledge of construction equipment and industry trends is desirable for informed recommendations
• High school diploma or equivalent with additional education in business administration as a plus

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for TP customers inquiring about equipment rentals and provide excellent customer service
• Manage rental orders from initial inquiry to equipment return, coordinating availability and scheduling to meet customer needs
• Process rental orders accurately using our rental management software, ensuring all paperwork is completed promptly
• Develop an understanding of our equipment inventory to provide guidance and recommendations to customers
• Assist in monitoring equipment inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure maintenance and readiness
• Collaborate with the sales team to identify rental opportunities and support sales initiatives with product information
• Promote a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and educating customers on equipment usage
