About The Position

UniFide CST is seeking an Equipment Rental Manager to take ownership of an established scale rental program and elevate it by driving utilization, sharpening operations, and growing revenue. This role involves overseeing the full lifecycle of the rental program, driving revenue growth through operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. The position sits at the intersection of sales, operations, and strategy, with the autonomy to build processes, refine pricing, and create structure. The ideal candidate thinks like an owner, enjoys both closing business and building systems, is comfortable making decisions with incomplete information, uses data to guide decisions, can move between strategy and execution, communicates well, and thrives in an environment where not everything is built yet. Experience in equipment rental, operations, logistics, or a related field is likely required, along with a strong sense of business ownership and the drive to grow something meaningful.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full lifecycle of the scale rental program.
  • Drive revenue growth through operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Build processes, refine pricing, and create structure.
  • Finalize pricing and availability on rental opportunities.
  • Identify potential long-term customer relationships.
  • Review rental asset utilization and make real-time decisions to improve equipment deployment.
  • Ensure equipment is ready, maintained, and not sitting idle.
  • Partner with sales to determine whether a customer's need is best solved through rental or purchase.
  • Refine quoting or intake processes to make them faster, clearer, and more scalable.
  • Analyze performance data by adjusting pricing, identifying trends, and spotting opportunities.
  • Follow up with customers post-rental to ensure expectations were exceeded and secure repeat business.
  • Build or improve SOPs that create consistency across locations and teams.
