About The Position

To safely and efficiently operate equipment used in the loading, unloading, stacking, and movement of shipping containers within the trucking yard.

Requirements

• Must be at least 22 years old due to safety requirements.
• Ability to operate equipment on the yard.
• Knowledge of depot industry and interchange procedures.
• Ability to operate yard equipment.
• Heavy forklift experience.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Pass MVR check.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to help at the gate when needed.
• Ability to detect damages on equipment.
• Ability to operate equipment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload containers from chassis, trucks, and stack areas.
• Move containers to assigned storage or staging areas as directed by yard dispatch or supervisors.
• Position and align containers in stacks according to yard layout and safety protocols.
• Operate yard equipment such as forklifts, yard trucks, top lift on a daily basis.
• Other duties as assigned.
