About The Position
Clean Scapes is the largest commercial landscaping contractor based in Texas, with locations in Austin, San Antonio, Dallas/Fort Worth, Houston, and Fort Worth. We partner with some of Texas' most recognizable commercial properties and are committed to delivering exceptional landscape construction and maintenance services through safety, teamwork, and quality workmanship. We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Equipment Operator to join our growing team. This position is responsible for operating a variety of heavy equipment in support of commercial landscape construction, site development, and enhancement projects. The ideal candidate has experience operating construction equipment, takes pride in producing quality work, and enjoys working outdoors in a team environment.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience operating heavy equipment in a construction, civil, or commercial landscaping environment.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical job duties.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
Nice To Haves
- Experience operating equipment such as excavators, skid steers (Bobcats), bulldozers, and street sweepers is preferred.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate heavy equipment including excavators, skid steers (Bobcats), bulldozers, street sweepers, loaders, and other construction equipment as assigned.
- Perform grading, excavation, trenching, material movement, and site preparation.
- Read and follow project plans, work orders, and supervisor instructions.
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or repair needs.
- Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site while following company safety policies.
- Assist crew members with general construction and landscaping tasks when equipment operation is not required.
- Work efficiently to meet project deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
