About The Position

O'Hanlon Paving, a proud member of The Fath Group of Companies, has been a key player in the Edmonton, road construction industry for over 65 years. We are currently looking for an experienced Equipment and Crusher Operator to work seasonally in a full-time capacity, in our Meridian Street and Acheson recycling yards in Edmonton. The successful candidate must be able to align with the company's core values: Commitment, Attitude and Respect. We are looking for a worker to operate Excavator, Loader, and Crusher along with other supporting equipment when required.

Requirements

• Required experience in the operation of construction-related equipment
• Ability to work regular work day with overtime when required
• Open to training & learning safe operation of different equipment
• Must possess a valid class 5 driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle to travel to work sites
• Attention to detail, able to communicate in a courteous and professional manner
• Ability to follow directions
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Willingness and ability to work extended hours and weekends when required

Nice To Haves

• Valid safety certifications are an asset but not essential

Responsibilities

• Equipment operating with some laborer duties when required
• Perform a variety of tasks involving some manual labour
• Work with minimal supervision
• Perform daily safety and maintenance checks
• Other duties as required
