About The Position

RS is a high-service global product and service solutions provider for industrial customers, enabling them to operate efficiently and sustainably. The Equipment Operator will be responsible for putting away and picking orders of large quantities with accuracy using equipment in a proficient manner and meeting performance standards. The shift is from 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM, with weekend overtime as required. This role involves operating a cherry picker for 2-5 years, with lifting limits of 50-75 lbs, and comfort with heights.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of cherry picker experience
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Good hand-eye coordination and math skills.
• Must be physically fit, able to lift up to lift up to 50 lbs
• Requires use of basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division)
• Must be a good team worker, with reliable attendance
• Follow written and oral instruction.
• Good communication skills-written and verbal.

Nice To Haves

• Stock Picker experience preferred.
• Forklift/Equipment operation experience preferred.
• Mobile Scanner experience helpful.
• Computer skills required on an occasional basis.
• Previous warehouse experience preferred.
• A High School Diploma/GED or Equivelant Experience Preferred

Responsibilities

• Put away and pick orders with accuracy using mobile scanner, stock picker and/or forklift.
• Able to drive equipment in a safe and professional manner.
• Put away using Mobil Terminals to locations determined by WMS.
• Perform housekeeping duties such as cleaning, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal.
• Perform other duties as assigned, potentially assisting other departments based on work volume.
