About The Position

The Equipment Operator will join the Gresham, SC plant of Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials. This role involves supporting daily plant operations by operating various equipment and performing general plant tasks. The company emphasizes continual improvement and provides hands-on training and opportunities for advancement within a friendly, team-oriented work environment with supportive management.

Requirements

• A minimum of 1–year of experience operating equipment (loader, haul truck, water truck, skid steer).
• General mechanical knowledge.
• Good organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment in support of daily plant production.
• Inspect plant areas and perform basic maintenance, repairs, and screen changes.
• Complete welding and fabrication tasks as needed.
• Identify safety hazards or equipment issues and respond appropriately.
