Equipment Operator
About The Position
As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating various equipment to effectively support operations at our MRF location. You will prioritize health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all times. Your duties will include unloading waste from incoming trucks and operating an end loader to move waste to the blending box. You will also operate an excavator to transfer solidified waste from the blending box to belt floor trailers and roll-off boxes. Additionally, you will perform general inspections to ensure equipment is in good working condition, provide guidance to less experienced equipment operators as needed, and take on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization.
Requirements
- High-school diploma or equivalent (required)
- 1+ years of experience operating related heavy equipment (required)
