About The Position
EMR is seeking a motivated Equipment Operator to join their Pensacola team. In this role, you will operate a material handler or excavator to move metal throughout the yard, keeping operations running smoothly. This is a hands-on position for someone who thrives working independently while contributing to a safe, team-oriented environment.
Requirements
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs regularly
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Willingness to complete manual labor when required and ability to learn other aspects of the job
- Strong time management skills and ability to multitask under pressure
- Ability to pass a criminal background check, physical exam, and drug screening
- High School diploma or GED
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience operating a material handler or excavator is a plus
Responsibilities
- Operate forklift/bobcat and/or excavator to move metal and other materials
- Complete daily equipment reports
- Perform routine maintenance and equipment inspections
- Follow all safety and operational protocols
- Assist with other duties as assigned
