We currently have a new opportunity for an Equipment Operator. This role is responsible for operating a Brausse die cutter and a 2-color Heidelberg Speed Master press that is used for scoring and perforating previously printed sheets, meeting target production speeds, ensuring quality standards are met for each project, and adhering to company guidelines. This role plays a crucial part in the efficient and effective completion of our production processes, contributing to our overall business success. Requirements

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and write simple correspondences.
• Dependable and exceptional work ethic
• Must be able to work independently or as part of a team
• Ability to read and understand various measuring devices such as rulers, tape measures, calipers, micrometers, etc.
• Able to perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment; mechanically inclined
• Ability to use basic hand tools and various power tools
• High school diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in printing is a plus!

Responsibilities

• Machine setups, creating quality products, general maintenance, and clean up.
• Receive work assignments and communicate expectations and daily schedule with peers and management.
• Prepare each job in accordance with the job order and follow schedule to prioritize and complete proper workload.
• Follow and comply with all safety and company rules, regulations, policies.
• Maintain a consistently high level of production to assure a continuous work flow of the printing press.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Perform duties and work in other departments as needed or assigned.
