About The Position
Luck Stone Enoree, SC Plant is seeking a skilled and dependable Equipment Operator to safely operate excavators, loaders, and other specialized machinery while consistently delivering a high level of performance. The ideal candidate is experienced, safety-conscious, and capable of completing essential job duties independently with minimal supervision. The hours are 6am-4pm Mon-Fri.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 + years experience operating excavators and loaders.
- Ability to operate multiple types of equipment safely and proficiently.
- Strong awareness of workplace and equipment safety requirements.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Dependable, attentive, and committed to quality performance.
- Willingness to assist with general construction duties when needed.
Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate multiple pieces of heavy equipment (Komatsu WA 600 loader and CAT 3368 excavator)
- Follow all company health and safety policies and regulations.
- Inspect, clean, and lubricate equipment and perform routine safety checks.
- Ensure equipment is properly positioned before operation, shutdown, loading, or unloading.
- Promptly report equipment faults or maintenance concerns to the Plant Manager or Foreman.
- Assist with other construction-related duties as needed.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
- Participate in required meetings and training sessions.
