About The Position

Taylor Corporation is looking for a 2nd Shift Equipment Operator to join the team at our Jeffersonville, IN, facility. This role involves preparing and operating digital printing press equipment, ensuring compliance with job specifications and company quality standards. The position requires performing regular maintenance on equipment, preparing inks, checking paper and plates, and visually inspecting forms throughout the printing process. The Equipment Operator will also coordinate with the Production Team to manage job priorities and deadlines, and maintain knowledge of safety requirements.

Requirements

Ability to set adjustable mechanism to required tolerances
High degree of mathematical skills and attention to detail.
High degree of mechanical ability
Good reading ability.
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Prepare and operate digital printing press equipment, in compliance with job specifications and in accordance with company quality standards and procedures.
Performs daily/weekly/monthly maintenance on equipment to ensure optimum output.
Prepare inks for proper color and consistency.
Check paper for type, size, color and quantity.
Check plates for correct format
Visually inspect forms throughout run for quality
Coordinate with Production Team to produce and prioritize jobs, and when necessary reorganize to meet deadline changes and updates.
Maintain knowledge of safety requirements of job and equipment.
