As an Equipment Operator employee with John Deere in Fargo, ND, you will: Perform equipment operations support in a production environment focused on safety, quality, and teamwork. Job details are dependent on duties assigned but in general consist of the following:

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have at least one of the following: High School Diploma or G.E.D., National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC), or At least 3 years of manufacturing work experience
Demonstrated hand and power tool knowledge and operation.
Ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environment.
Ability to read, interpret and follow work instructions, including distinguishing part and quantity numbers.
Ability to perform manual tasks related to described job duties for duration of work shift; including but not limited to frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and hand/eye dexterity and coordination.
Ability and willingness to work potential overtime (including weekends).

Nice To Haves

Current experience as a contingent worker in a similar role at John Deere Fargo demonstrating strong performance and attendance.
Prior experience in an assembly or manufacturing role.

Responsibilities

Operate and setup equipment placing electronic components.
Perform preventative maintenance and calibration on equipment.
Utilize computer tools to operate and manage machine production.
Read and comprehend job orders and part numbers with accuracy to meet quality criteria of product.
Assist and support other team members.
Clean work area and perform other miscellaneous duties inherent to the job.
