About The Position
Equipment Operator Are you an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator looking for a hands-on role where your skills make an impact? EMR, a global leader in metal recycling, is hiring a Heavy Equipment Operator to join our New Orleans, LA depot!
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong work ethic, teamwork skills, and ability to multitask
- Must pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience with material handling and excavators
Responsibilities
- Operate excavators to move and process metal
- Perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a secure work environment
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Support the team with additional duties as needed
