About The Position

International Graphics, a Taylor Corporation company, is looking for an Equipment Operator to join the team in Stratford, Ontario (Canada)! This role involves preparing and operating cutting and finishing equipment, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring quality standards are met. The position requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to coordinate with the production team to meet deadlines.

Requirements

Ability to set adjustable mechanism to required tolerances
High degree of math skills and attention to detail
High degree of mechanical ability
Good reading ability

Responsibilities

Prepare and operate cutting and finishing equipment, in compliance with job specifications and in accordance with company quality standards and procedures.
Performs routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimum output.
Check paper for type, size, color and quantity.
Check job descriptions for correct format.
Visually inspect forms throughout run for quality.
Coordinate with Production Team to produce and prioritize jobs, and when necessary reorganize to meet deadline changes and updates.
Maintain knowledge of safety requirements of job and equipment.
